Ian runs engineering for flights and other travel verticals at Navan. He’s worked in tech for over 20 years at companies like Google and Slack, both in product management and engineering roles. He’s also run his own agency business for over 10 years and is now combining his love and knowledge of travel with his engineering background at Navan. He focuses on making sure that his teams understand the details and consider scenarios end-to-end—from the traveler experience, to the airline and operational considerations, to how to turn this into a delightful and reliable automated experience via our software platform. Outside of corporate travel, Ian enjoys teaching people how to fly and flying seaplanes in the northwest United States.
