Matthias works as Senior Advisor with Travel in Motion (TiM) focusing on revenue management and dynamic pricing, key to offer creation in modern airline retailing. He began his career with Lufthansa Systems before moving to Lufthansa Group, where he played a central role in advancing modern airline retailing as Head of Offer Optimization. Over the course of his career, Matthias has built a strong reputation for bridging commercial strategy, technology, and industry transformation.
Matthias holds a PhD in economics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and teaches Aviation Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Worms. He combines airline experience gained during his career at Lufthansa and consulting various airlines with the latest academic research.
